Dogs went through ‘drastic lifestyle’ changes before mauling owner

GOOCHLAND, Va. –  According to CBS 6 Tonka and Pac-Man were brindled pit bull brothers from the same litter, born about two and a half years ago. They were socialized, indoor dogs whose owner, 22-year-old Bethany Lynn Stephens, was said to treat like her own children. She worked at a kennel and around trainers for a while, and she brought Tonka and Pac-Man with her to work.

Pictures capture the fondness Stephens had for her animals; her face close to their muzzle or her arms wrapped around them. Tonka was with her since he was 8-weeks old and friends said she later adopted Pac-Man to get him out of an abusive home.

Stephens’ friends said it has been hard not only to wrap their minds around the fact that they’ve lost a friend, but that the culprits are her two pets. Goochland County deputies said that last week Stephens was mauled to death by the dogs, sometime Wednesday afternoon after leaving the house with them.

She wasn’t discovered in the woods until the next evening, the dogs found nearby, “guarding her,” Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew said.

Later he would release photos and details of the grisly discovery. Deputies witnessed the animals eating Stephens rib cage; her body was dismembered, and she was found completely naked except for one boot.

    Bethany Stephens

For many, despite the facts that overwhelmingly led law enforcement to the conclusion that Stephens was in fact, mauled to death by her dogs, the gap between pets and killers is too difficult to comprehend.
Certified master dog trainer Valerie Paul did not know Stephens, Pac-Man, or Tonka, but has testified in multiple court cases and has been deemed an expert by the court system.

She offered some potential answers as to how and why the dogs allegedly went from adoring their owner to feeding on her body.

“Most dogs aren’t going to just turn on an owner,” Paul said. “As more and more details come out, I think there probably was some sort of outside influence, but not necessarily another animal or anything like that – just something that could have enticed the dogs to get overexcited and react the way dogs will.”

“The fact that they are pit bulls doesn’t connect to what they did, it is a dog thing,” said Paul, who is also owner of the kennel Impawsible Pups. She said at the end of the day, dogs are animals, and in extreme circumstances, they can potentially view even their owners as threats or food sources.

“That’s actually very normal, dogs view people very differently than how we view people, when we see a body, we think of our loved ones and all of the memories that they bring to us, dogs don’t, in general.”

Valerie Paul, owner of Impawsible Pups

Sergeant Mike Blackwood explained that the dogs were a “little bit neglected towards the end of this.”

They went from being inside dogs doted on by Stephens to living outside in a kennel. Stephens left the dogs with her father, and Blackwood said; “he wasn’t taking care of them – it wasn’t his responsibility.”

Friends explained that Stephens was going through certain personal events and she no longer had the dogs with her.

The weather changed, and the dogs lived out “in the cold.”

Blackwood said that with Stephens coming home maybe five times a week, the dogs became more isolated and only had contact with each other.

    They were not fed daily.

“This was such a huge lifestyle change,” Paul explained. There are so many factors within that lifestyle change that we may see as small things that the dogs may see as larger.”

Extreme lifestyle changes can have an effect on animals

Paul said extreme lifestyle changes can be large enough to potentially cause drastic temperament changes.

“The breed in and of itself is a high energy breed, they like to have a lot of structure and a lot of exercise, so by keeping them in a pin, alone, under socialized, away from people, that energy is just building up and building up and building up and that’s when you start to see dogs fighting more regularly, that’s when you start to see more negative scenarios,” Paul said.

She pointed out that resource guarding, or getting hyped up could quickly turn into a negative energy – especially from dogs who had been cooped up.

“Someone getting involved, if done improperly, could get bitten,” Paul said.

No one can say for certain what exactly happened that afternoon.

Paul said there is a good chance the tragedy “was an energy gone wrong.”

“There is a lot of speculation…,” Paul said, “…but you can’t blame the breed.”

She said that pit bulls are actually very sweet and are good family dogs when given what they need. “I’ve seen more non pit bulls breeds be aggressive towards people than pit bulls.”

“If you have concerns, talk to a trainer,” Paul added. “There were factors to this.”

    Investigation continues

The investigation is ongoing. The dogs were euthanized days after the attack, with the family’s permission. Now investigators are looking for someone to perform a necropsy on the dogs.

Sheriff Agnew said once that takes place it will be about two weeks before results are available and there could potentially be more answers as to what may have happened.

Authorities have ruled out foul play and had CAT scans and X-rays done prior to the autopsy to rule out homicide; there were no broken bones or signs of strangulation. There were no signs of sexual assault.

The toxicology reports on Stephens should be back in 90 days.

Nobody Can Figure Out This Christmas Riddle

While Christmas is still a few weeks away and we have yet to celebrate Thanksgiving yet, there are many of us who love the idea of ringing the occasion in early. The earlier we are able to start celebrating, the earlier we are able to enjoy all of the trappings of Christmas. This goes double for those who cannot wait to drink eggnog and play all of their favorite Christmas music.

To that end, we have elected to provide readers with an early gift that they can have right now. This Christmas riddle has baffled a number of people and the good folks at Mathway are happy to offer a fun twist on the usual Yuletide fun. You might be thinking that this is a simple riddle because of the presence of candy canes and wine. However, this is a riddle that is much tougher than it looks.

The solution to this problem is not a gimme by any stretch. The riddle has been shared by thousands of users who are in search of the proper answer. The original Facebook post received a multitude of likes and shares. If you would like to take a moment to ponder this equation for yourself, we will be over here listening to our favorite Mariah Carey Christmas ballads.

Had enough time? While your stocking is not going to be filled with coal if you do not get this word puzzle right, you will end up on the nice list. If you are ready to check out what is under your Christmas tree, then we are here to provide you with the answer to this riddle. Are you ready for it? Here it comes, everybody.

The answer to the riddle? 15. There are a number of people who ended up coming up with 25 as an answer and that is incorrect. The key to being able to figure out this riddle is all in the wine. Take a closer look at the third line and you will realize why so many people came up with 25. The third line contains two wine glasses and the fourth line only has one.

Every snowflake will count for 10 and this puts us at 30. All of the candy canes are worth 5 and the wine glasses are each worth 1. We’ve done our absolute best to explain this puzzler and we urge all readers who love to challenge themselves to pass it along. Debates are bound to take place once everyone comes up with different answers.

13 ‘Inappropriate’ Oven Mitts For Moms Who Love To Say…

Some moms are the type of women who make their kids put a dollar into a swear jar everytime they say a bad word. Other moms are the type of women who say “FUCKKKK” when they see their toddler going through yesterday’s garbage and pulling out his dirty diaper and then proceeding to put it on his 4-month-old sister’s head (true story). I personally believe that deep down, there’s a curse-word loving gal in every mother, no matter how proper they may present themselves. And, for that reason, there’s no better gag gift to get your bad-ass mother than these bad-ass oven mitts to bake a f*cking cake or two with.

    1. B*tches get stuff done

    2. Droppin a new recipe on your a$$

    3. This is f*cking delicious

Conor Nickerson Photoshops Himself Into Childhood Pics Of Young Self, And The Results Are Too Real

How badly would you want to go back to your young days? Well, Montreal-based photographer Conor Nickerson, wanted it badly enough to actually do it. Not with a time machine though, but instead, with a Photoshop and quite a bit of patience.

“While looking through some old family photos, I wondered what it would it look like if tried to photoshop myself today into them,” Conor writes. “I gathered all the old hats and t-shirts that I could find and did my best to put myself into childhood moments which, aside from these photos, remain only a distant memory.”

Conor mentioned that the hardest bit was to match the quality of the photos from 1997-2005 to the current ones: “It involved a lot of blurring, sharpening, and noise to try to get it to look like an older photo.” But the results he achieved are so good that you’ll have a hard time finding any signs of Photoshop in them.

“Editing the pictures and looking at them so closely for so long takes a bit away from the shock value, but seeing the final images all together definitely is a bit strange! I feel like me and little me would have gotten along pretty alright.”

    Boozy Fireball Cupcakes Are Here

Boozy Fireball Cupcakes Are Here To Spice Up Your Party And They Look Delicious

Odds are when you think about Fireball Whiskey, images of crazy nights run through your mind. Though Fireball is a great choice of shot when you want to get lit, it also makes for a pretty solid ingredient while baking cupcakes. That’s right, folks: If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a delicious treat while using your Fireball Whiskey as an ingredient, here’s how to make boozy Fireball cupcakes. Delish published the recipe and we can’t get enough of them.

To get started, you’re going to need:

    1. A box of yellow cake mix
    2. 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
    3. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
    4. 3 large eggs
    5. 1 1/4 cup of Fireball Whiskey
    6. 1 cup of unsalted butter
    7. 4 cups of powdered sugar
    8. 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
    9. A pinch of salt
    10. Red and yellow food coloring
    11. Hot Tamales for decoration

Once you’ve picked up these delicious ingredients, you can start cooking up your sweet and spicy dessert.

    Making Cupcakes

To make your cupcakes, start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and add the cupcake liner to your muffin tin. In a large bowl, mix cake and cinnamon together, and then add vegetable oil, eggs, and one cup of Fireball Whiskey. Add your mixture to the muffin tin and bake as directed on the cake box. Check out the Delish video for a complete rundown of the recipe.

    Making Frosting

To make the frosting, mix butter, half the powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and 1/4 Fireball Whiskey in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat until you have a smooth consistency, then add the other two cups of powdered sugar and beat until your frosting is light and fluffy. Stir in the yellow and red food coloring, making sure not to over-mix — because you definitely want some streaks, right?

Then, pipe your frosting onto your cooled cupcakes and top with a Hot Tamale for decoration. Again, say thank you to Delish, for this amazing recipe.

That was pretty easy, right? Now you have yourself a delicious batch of Fireball cupcakes that’ll make it socially acceptable to enjoy the whiskey early in the day. Just make sure not to have too many of them, you never know what’ll happen when Fireball is in the mix.

Sandra Bullock Drops Perfect Comment Before Donating $1 Million to Harvey Victims in Texas

From the friendly neighbor to celebrities, ranging from comedian and actor Kevin Hart to the band Lady Antebellum, people all over the country have been stepping up to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Although one celeb raised the bar exponentially when she donated a whopping $1 million to the Red Cross in an effort to help those in need.

That woman is actress Sandra Bullock and she’s stepped up in a massive way.

While her donations are admirable, it was her words that spoke with even greater volume.

During an interview with People magazine, Bullock said of her seven figure donation:

“I’m just grateful I can do it. We all have to do our part.

There are no politics in eight feet of water. There are human beings in eight feet of water.”

Bullock is a longtime supporter of the Red Cross and even has a home in Texas, People notes.

Elizabeth Penniman, Vice President of Communications for American Red Cross national headquarters, talked the magazine about Bullock’s donation:

“This is an incredible gift. We’re so thankful. It’s times like this when we do receive such an incredible amount of support. Especially during times of disaster, people see what’s happening in Texas and our hearts all go out to them. Having someone like Sandra Bullock make this kind of commitment, it helps bring people together and open their hearts and be even more generous.”

For those looking to donate to Hurricane Harvey victims, you can go to the Red Cross Foundation.

    Every little bit helps.

Woman arrested in driveway shooting incident

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico State Police arrested the woman accused of firing a gun at a couple in their own driveway on Sunday.

Authorities also took the suspect’s boyfriend into custody. Both Miranda Gilbert and Shannon Ray were wanted on warrants. Their arrests stem from a multi-jurisdictional effort after law enforcement received tips Gilbert and Ray may have been hiding out about two hours east of Albuquerque.

Nearly every law enforcement agency in New Mexico had Gilbert and Ray on their radar. APD believed they were involved in a shooting Sunday. Police say Gilbert’s gunshots narrowly missed the woman, and she eventually drove off.

Wife Finds Disabled Vet In Tears, Then Sees What Neighbor Had Done

Christopher Garrett, a former combat engineer, was taking part in a night mission in Afghanistan, when suddenly, he was shot in the gut, which earned him medical retirement.

He returned back to his home, and tried to keep up with his normal duties, including mowing his lawn once or twice a week, and used a old-fashioned push mower.

Now Garrett has received 100 percent disabled rating, so doing such tasks was harder for him than others.

But it was recently, that his wife, Brittany, had found him outside crying. Nothing appeared to be wrong. But after talking with him, she discovered what was wrong, or actually right.

A neighbor, who still remains anonymous, had seen that Garrett had been struggling with the ld push mower for some time. So, they decided to bless him and his family by buying them a brand new John Deere riding lawn mower.

A note was left on the mower saying: ‘I hope this saves time for the things that matter most in your life. Thank you for your service and for my freedom. Sincerely, A grateful American.”

Both became overwhelmed with joy by the generous gift. Now he was able to focus on more things, like being a father to his children, and being a husband. This gift will surely save him some time and pain, and we are so happy for him!

6-Year-Old Girl Does The Incredible After Dad’s Accident In The Backyard

    Young Girl Saves Her Father

Normally, it’s parents who are responsible for the safety and well-being of their children. When they’re toddlers, parents will cut up their food into tiny pieces so their child doesn’t choke, and when they’re old enough learn to drive, parents will hold back their keys until they know their kid will be safe behind the wheel.

Sons and daughters usually don’t have to return these “favors” until they’re grown up and their parents need some help themselves, but every so often, children like this little girl, named Maisie, will go above and beyond for Mom or Dad…

    Party of Five

Andy and Hannah Donoghue live in Wallasey, a suburb of Liverpool, in the United Kingdom, with their three children. Their oldest is 10-year-old Aaron, who loves football. Their youngest is a three-year-old girl, Isla. And in the middle, there’s six-year-old Maisie, who is a natural helper around the house.

    Dedicated Dad

At just 32 years old, Andy was a pretty young dad, with 10 years of fatherhood under his belt. Andy tried his best to keep up with his three young kids but he had no idea how quickly that could change…

    Sunday Afternoon

    Featured image credit: www.liverpoolecho.co.uk

One of Andy’s favorite activities at their home in Wallasey is spending the weekends working on his garden with little Maisie. Yet nothing could have prepared Andy for what would happen during his last gardening session on June 25th, 2017.

    Something’s Wrong

    Featured image credit: www.intergastro.co

Andy was home alone with his daughter, Maisie, on that Sunday afternoon while his wife was out around town. Nothing was out of the ordinary that day, until Andy was gardening and turned to Maisie to tell her he wasn’t feeling well…

    Perfectly Healthy

Up until that moment, Andy had a clean bill of health, so at first he thought it was something that would pass. However, after a few moments, it was clear that something was very wrong with the healthy, active 32-year-old father of three.

    Feeling Funny

His wife, Hannah, later told the Liverpool ECHO “He started to feel funny, so he came inside and he couldn’t move one of his arms.” Andy started to show signs of illness so serious, that even little Maisie could tell he was in trouble…

With her mom and big brother out of the house, Maisie knew it was up to her to help her dad. And while most six-year-olds would be petrified with fear, she was brave enough to pick up her dad’s phone and call for help…

    Act Fast

    Featured image credit: www.kulr8.com

“He managed to unlock the phone with the hand that he could use and he gave it to Maisie who called her nan who lives two minutes away and told her about her dad not being well,” Hannah told Liverpool ECHO.

Although the tiny kindergartner didn’t know how to call for police or an ambulance, she was so quick-thinking that in the heat of the moment, she remembered her grandmother was nearby and could help. Thankfully, her nan saw the call come in and immediately picked up…

    Help Is Near

    Featured image credit: loupi.deviantart.com

Maisie’s swift actions got her dad to the hospital within the hour. When Andy’s mother got the call from her granddaughter, she called an ambulance and he was on his way to hospital in less than 30 minutes.

“Because he was seen to within the hour it gives him a much better chance at recovery. He’s able to move his arm, and his reflexes are OK because he raised his arm when he sneezed,” Hannah said. But what could have caused such a bizarre episode?

When Andy was seen by experts at the hospital, the staff were baffled by his condition. Everything the father had experienced pointed to one thing: Andy suffered a stroke while gardening with his daughter.

Doctors were shocked that the healthy 32-year-old father would suffer such a health crisis: something they usually only see with patients into their 70s. Yet they were adamant that Maisie’s quick-thinking helped save her father and lessened the effects…

9 Things We Used To Do in The Kitchen That You Don’t See Anymore

Growing up, what was your favorite room in the house? For me it was the kitchen. Not only was the kitchen the place where mom would let me lick the beaters after making cake batter, but it doubled as our dining room. The family and I gathered around our tiny formica table to share countless meals and conversations. For many of us, the kitchen holds a special place in our memories for reasons just like those. In recent years, however, the kitchen has experienced quite a few changes. Thanks to technology and and a quicker pace of life, some of the charming nuances of the kitchens we grew up in are no longer present; but we won’t let those memories fade! Check out our list below of things you just don’t see in the kitchen these days, and let us know what you’d add to the list in the comments section when you’re done!

    Grinding Your Own Meat/Nuts/Coffee

    Via John Collier/Library of Congress

    Via John Collier/Library of Congress

If you wanted to help out in the kitchen and get in an arm workout too, the grinder was the tool for you. There’s nothing more satisfying than grinding your own meat, and it allows you to get creative (for instance, throw some bacon in with your beef the next time you want to grind up meat for hamburgers).

    Defrosting The Freezer

    Via Ann Rosener/Library of Congress

    Via Ann Rosener/Library of Congress

Speaking of workouts, nothing was more difficult than defrosting the freezer. Yes, kids these days will be shocked to learn that there was a time, not too long ago I might add, when refrigerators did not automatically defrost themselves. This is one of the things on the list we can’t say we miss all that much.

Close your eyes for a minute, and try to remember the sound the percolator would make when someone was making coffee. That sweet smell would fill the air and the melodic popping of the percolator let the whole house know that your morning cup of joe was mere seconds away!

    Using An Actual Cookbook

While it’s quite convenient to be able to pull up any recipe on your phone or iPad at a moment’s notice, there’s something we miss about flipping through an actual cook book. Feeling the pages in your hand as you search for that perfect recipe is something we definitely miss. *Bonus memory: how many of you remember the recipe cards? My mom had recipes written on everything and kept them in her well-worn recipe card box.

    Churning Your Own Butter

Yet again, we’re glad we don’t have to solely rely on churning our own butter. Yet if you’ve ever had homemade butter, we doubt you’ll argue with us when we say that it just tastes better. Especially when you compare it to margarine; did any of you eat margarine growing up because it was supposedly healthier for you?

Now these are something we definitely want to bring back. Mom’s kitchen may not have been high tech, but it sure was organized. If you’re looking to add a touch of nostalgia to your kitchen, these canisters are a great, inexpensive way to do so. Plus, having easy access to the cooking essentials is always nice!

    Making Preserves and Canning Them

Via Farm Security Admistration/Library of Congress

My parents grew up during the Depression, so they were taught to never waste a thing! If vegetables began to go bad, in to the brine they would go! Not to mention all of the delicious jams and preservatives we had access to… today’s store-bought varieties just can’t compare!

Beautiful Jadeite Dish Sets on Display

Perhaps some of you still have a few Jadeite dishes around (or even better, maybe you collect them!). If so, good on you! We just can’t get enough of the beautiful pastel colors, and displaying these dishes is another great way to add a nice nostalgic touch to your kitchen. Extra points if your dishes were handed down from your parents… we just love it when they have a story!

    Making Everything From Scratch

    From Scratch

The thing we miss the most about the old kitchens we grew up in is the delicious, homemade food that Mom used to make in them. Pasta sauce, cookies, butter… no matter what she needed, she could find a way to whip it up.

We hope you enjoyed this trip back to the kitchens of yesterday. While these activities might be gone (some for better and some for worse), they’re definitely not forgotten.

Of course, the kitchen was our favorite room in the house because that’s where the dinner table was!

Teenagers Found Lost In The Paris Catacombs

Sometimes, it’s exciting to do things you’re not supposed to. This is especially true for teenagers, when getting into a little bit of trouble every now and then is just part of stretching your wings.

But there’s a limit to this sort of mischief, and not just because you’re breaking the law. Take, just for example, trespassing within an underground maze that spans miles upon miles beneath the Earth.

That’s exactly the situation that two teens in Paris found themselves in for three days straight. As if that didn’t sound bad enough on its own, just wait until you see the catacombs that they were trapped in… they’re truly chilling!

In June 2017, two teenagers—a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old—were rescued after spending three days lost in the catacombs underneath Paris, France. That’s a long time to spend trapped anywhere, let alone in a pitch-black underground maze. It gets worse when you find out that those catacombs were essentially a burial ground!

    MykReeve / Wikimedia Commons

After being saved by rescue dogs and a search team early on a Wednesday morning, the teenagers were quickly transported to the hospital to be treated for hypothermia. “It was thanks to the dogs that we found them,” said a Paris fire service spokesperson.

    Shadowgate / Wikimedia Commons

It’s understandable that it took so long to find them, especially considering that the catacombs form a breathtaking maze beneath the city of Paris. In all, they stretch for roughly 150 miles. Southern Paris’s official visitors’s site, however, is the only part open to the public. That hasn’t stopped some people from finding their own ways in…

    Campola / Wikimedia Commons

Since 1955, it’s been illegal to access the catacombs, but it’s not exactly uncommon for adventure-seekers and daredevils to sneak through secret entrance points all to explore the burial ground within. It’s either amazing or horrifying, depending on who you ask!

    Vlastula / Wikimedia Commons

The Paris catacombs contain the bones of about six million individuals. Due to public health concerns, human remains were transferred to the underground tunnels during the latter part of the 18th century. Now, they’re all part of the creepy allure that draws people—like those two teenagers—inside.

As far as I can tell, those people are rare, mystical unicorns, prancing through life un-emotionally-scathed while the rest of civilization endures its fair share of inevitable, on-going rivalry.

These thirty-five siblings achieved epically hilarious ends by using completely savage means against their brothers and sisters.

Let’s be real, though…don’t you kind wish you’d thought of some of these?

Elephant, Who Was Abused For 50 Years And Lived In Chains, Is Finally Freed By Wildlife Sos

Bored Panda recently wrote an article on ‘Gajraj’ and we are in love.

For over 51 years, 70 year old elephant ‘Gajraj’ belonging to the Royal family of Aundh, in the Satara district of Maharashtra performed his duties as a temple elephant where local devotees saw him as an icon of worship as he played an important role in festivities and temple processions.

Last week, the saga of this magnificent tusker took a dramatic turn for the better! Gajraj whose name translates to “King of Elephants’ finally retired from his duties and was entrusted to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation NGO, Wildlife SOS for his long term medical treatment and lifetime care. Gajraj’s plight was brought to attention by a PETA campaign and as concerned elephant lovers from around the world learned about Gajraj’s medical condition, thousands of requests for Wildlife SOS to intervene and help him poured in.

A medical examination had revealed that Gajraj required medical attention for his toenail abscess which could spread to the bone in addition to the hip abscesses while his foot pads suffered severe degeneration. This made him a candidate for geriatric life time care at Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation & Care Center in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

The royal family of Aundh gave him a warm farewell. The local villagers however become very emotional and hostile as Gajraj was getting ready to leave, gathering in large numbers with things taking an ugly twist as the mob became unruly. With each minute the atmosphere became gripped with tension and a large police force was deployed to ensure protection for the Wildlife SOS rescue team.

Eventually the elephant was placed inside the Elephant Ambulance – currently India’s only specially designed elephant ambulance. He then embarked on a 1500 kilometre journey along with expert veterinarians, paramedics, elephant caretakers and rescue team to his new home.

As the Elephant Ambulance arrived at the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Center, Gajraj first gingerly tested the ground with the trunk before gently placing his foot out of the vehicle after which he walked with no chains on his feet for the first time, accompanied by compassionate elephant keepers and veterinarians to his new home, where he will live without any fear, neither will he be forced to work at a temple or at ceremonies ever again!

Gajraj can now be seen spending his day leisurely munching on fresh fruits and green fodder while splashing about in his personal pool and taking dust baths. The veterinarians have started treating him with daily medicated foot soaks and draining his abscesses, while providing him a special diet along with nutritional supplements to help regain his strength.

50 WTF Confessions From 50 Anonymous People

The best thing to do is to spill your beans, but do it in a way that people can’t recognize you. There’s r/Confessions for that. Here are 50 WTF confessions from the anonymous on that subreddit.

My sister is special needs and has PWS. She just stabbed me in the arm with a pen. She is physically 19, but mentally 6. It’s getting to the point that my 60 year old father can’t physically control her. She is verbally/physically abusive. As I type this she is throwing stuff around in her room.

This is the part where I say that despite it all, I love her and she’s brought this family closer. Well, I don’t. And she hasn’t.

If I ever got pregnant and I will most definitely have tests done to detect for congenital abnormalities, if there are any, I won’t hesitate to abort. My mother says I wouldn’t because It’d be my baby and I’d love him/her too much. I’m 25 and have thought about this a lot. She is wrong.

Everyday is a struggle and I’m just suppose to forget that she is a f*cking monster. Yes, I am well aware that she can’t control it. A LOT of people don’t know what Prader Willi Syndrome is. But I can tell you, it sucks.

I don’t even pretend to love her. I avoid her because she is mean.

I like to day dream about myself dying. i often day dream of myself in a horrible situation in which i die, just to imagine what people would do or say about me. would i have this huge group of people mourn my loss of life at a young age? or will no one even think twice about it.

I dated a boy about 2 years ago right after I’d gotten out of a serious relationship. He was extremely aggressive sexually from the start, and I’m not sure why, it probably had something to do with my complete lack of self worth, I allowed anything to happen with this guy. He made me feel bad about myself, I barely spoke to him during our entire relationship. We dated for about 7 months. He wold push me aainst walls, throw me into bed, in the street he would take advantage. I would have bruises. He would yell at me if I didn’t do things the way he wanted. He raped me, multiple times. He made me feel incredibly guilty if I wasn’t in the mood at the moment. I was completely broken and still fear him. It eventually ended because I kissed someone else and he found out. I still miss him and would’ve loved to meet him at this “healthier” time of my life. I feel most guilty about that.

Last night my stepdad (mom’s ex who basically still takes care of me, her, my brother, and my mom’s current boyfriend) had to sleep in my room because he had no where else to sleep. He can’t sleep on the recliners downstairs because his back is screwy. My stepdad and I have always been close, we have slept in the same bed when we had to ever since I was little. I wasn’t worried much until I remembered last summer. Last summer I was staying at his house in a different state. We were cuddling in bed and he started to finger me. I was sorta lost in it for a couple minutes and then to get it to stop, I told him I had to go pee. Then I went for a smoke outside and he came out and apologized and said he felt really bad for it. I told him it was okay, but deep down inside me, I felt disgusted with myself and wish it had never happened. (by the way, sorry for not using comas where I probably should, I’m bad about that) He was here this weekend to drive my mom’s current boyfriend to a different state that they are trying to move to where he wants to get a job. They all got really sh*tface drunk yesterday. Now, my “stepdad” drinks all the time, he’s drank ever since he was little, and I’ve never really noticed anything different when he drinks, except he’s really.. horny and touchy with me. We were laying there and he was cuddling me from behind when he started to feel my ass, I tried to ignore it but he stuck his hand down my pants and panties. He fingered me for a while, and he had his other arm underneath me and wrapped around my neck, holding me against him. He moved to go down on me and I told him we should sleep, so we did. He left today with my moms boyfriend and I just feel so gross for letting it happen. Just, so gross and sick feeling, I can barely walk. My knees are weak and my stomach hurts. I want to tell my mom but it’d be so embarrassing and she trusts him. He’s been around since I was little. I’m a teenager now, under 16. I don’t know if giving my exact age matters. But that’s what happened. I had to tell somebody because its eating at me.

I find my gf a bit attractive, but not overly so. I don’t particularly like her personality since she acts like a ten year old but I am her first bf and do not want to hurt her by ending it so I act like the best boyfriend ever. Meanwhile I ignore her texts by saying my phone is broken and spend 8 hours a day talking to her best friend, who I think I love. I don’t have the heart to end what I have and I don’t have a chance with the friend because I am helping her get with another guy she likes. I feel like the only reason I am dating this girl is because a mutual friend found out she liked me and talked me up as if I was dying over her and loved her like crazy. I am stuck in a spot I don’t want to be in and I hate how I got here, so I come to you guys to confess how I really am and how depressed this is all making me. Sorry if this doesn’t count truly as a confession, but I really needed to put this somewhere.

I’ve been dating 2 girls secretly for the past 2 years and I just lost the one I loved more. I met both of these girls while in university. The first girl we actually met online first and then found out we went to the same school. She is a good student: smart, has lots of friends, and fun to be around. We started dating first but I never let it get to serious because I was still getting over a recent breakup.

Meanwhile, I start a new set of classes and meet girl B. shes sexy, cute, and really sweet. she’s into me and starts texting me because we are in the same group and we start hanging out. We begin dating as well and before I know it I’m falling for both of these girls for different reasons.

The first girl I met had a fight one day and it got ugly to the point where we didn’t speak for a couple of months. I spent a lot of time with girl B and fell for her even harder while at the same time missing everything I loved about girl A.

Eventually girl A and I get back together and spend a lot of time together to make up for lost time and because I felt in the wrong for things ending badly that I pretty much let her dominate my time so that she wouldn’t know anything was going on. Girl B, is obviously not liking any of this as she’s seeing me less and less and as I continue to push off things off with her. She dumps me. I lash out, say things that obviously should not be said and instantly regret anything as I have now come to the realization that she’s the girl I love and want to be with but now she won’t even speak to me or hear me out.

My friends just had a baby with downs. Everyone is supportive and encouraging. I feel like screaming to them, WHY CAN’T YOU SPEND 2 MINUTES BEING SAD FOR YOUR SITUATION?!?!?!

I feel like someone just broke their leg and everyone is saying, “HOORAY, you get a cast for me to sign and cool crutches” and no one is actually mentioning the broken leg.

Cute baby, wonderful people, I want to be supportive but I am telling you what I can’t say to them.

I am in my late 30’s and I still eat my boogers and sometimes my scabs.I am not sure why I do it, My wife doesn’t know, I’ve done it since I was a kid and never stopped.

As a child, I chose to be physically abused. I come from a poor family, both parents constantly working and never home. I was young, and my sister and I couldn’t take care of ourselves. I was 6 and my sister 7, and we’d be forced to go to my aunt’s house to be babysat; not always by my aunt. It began when I was 5, and we were visiting my aunt but she had left for work and were left in the hands of my alcoholic uncle. It started with verbal abuse, saying we were a plague on his household, we were horrible kids and every nasty thing you could say to a 5 year old. He was a drunk, I understood why he was always yelling. It started escalating from yelling across the room to in our faces. By the time I turned 6, He was in our faces every time we were left in his care. It took a turn for the physical when he started throwing things at us. After months of screaming, throwing shoes, clothes, toys and different household objects at us, he finally started to take a turn for hitting us with his hand. I knew he would go after my sister, because she was the girl. Every time I heard him scream, I would lock my sister in a closet and tell her to stay until I came and got her. For about 10 months I was subjected to beatings, being burnt with cigarettes up and down my legs, arms, and back; Subjected to being thrown around, and assaulted verbally and physically. Throughout the times I was being assaulted I would lock my sister away, hiding her from him, choosing to keep him distracted with me instead of her. Half the time I would convince her that we were playing a game, and her memories were only of her hiding from a screaming deranged drunk. She never knew what was actually going on. After I turned 7, I had learned how to patch up any wounds I received while being beaten. Spending time reading books and watching instructional videos on first aid and self defense. Teaching myself how to block some of the more powerful hits to stave off more serious injury.

Sometimes, when I’m alone…or when I’m in my room at night. I can picture myself, killing my friends, not just my friends all my “girl” friends all of them. When I shut my eyes I can see their faces, I can here their screams, I can picture every gruesome detail, every monologue in my head…. And it feels good. You know what the funny part is? I think I can get away with it, and I think about it constantly…I want to tell someone but I don’t know who. There are several reasons for why I would want to do something like this…one girl, I will call her rouge, because red is her favorite color, I’ve had a crush on her for the longest time and we’ve been best friends since high school. I’ve asked her out several times before and she never gives me a response instead she ignores me, or changes the subject and ends up going out with some complete jackass that shares nothing in common with her. But you know what she doesn’t have a problem doing? Asking me for rides at 3 a.m when I have to wake up for a 15 hour shift in less than 5 hours, asking me for money, asking me to complete her projects, or to give her a ride to her asshole boyfriends house and doesn’t even so much give me a thank you! And I have explained this to her so many times…what she’s doing to me. How she makes me feel. But she just. Doesnt. Get it. How I would love to torture her and violate her body and take a few pictures…and then there’s Devilyn, because the devils are in the details…shes a f*cking little tease, despite all the things I have done for her she has the nerve to talk behind my back and deny me in front of her friends! But she has absolutely no problem asking me for favors none! I’m sick of it!…I know what I’m thinking is wrong…but I can see it, vividly…and I know it’s not normal.
